What major is required if I want to become an Information Analyst working for the government?
I'm currently attending Temple University, majoring in biochem but I want to change my major to become an Information Analyst. Any suggestions to what major is best fit for this job? What major is required if I want to become an Information Analyst working for the government? It would require a degree which involved some experience in statistics. If you are in biochem, then I assume you have some foundation in biostatistics (Cox models, time-to-event, etc.). At any rate, you should strongly consider either majoring in Statistics or getting a minor in Statistics with a major in Information Science or perhaps Economics.
