Where can I find information on how to make a kite for myself?

I live at UCSB, and sometimes it gets windy. So windy, that I've finally decided to make a kite and fly it at Campus Point. But I need some information on how to make some basic kites. Materials, designs, all that stuff.



And you better not put "the Internet" or you will end up looking like a dumbasss.Where can I find information on how to make a kite for myself?Hi:



The first place I would go is to your local or University 's library and see what books they have on kites then go from there, If not then go to the Barnes and Nobels bookstore website an see what books they got, Here are some books on the subject:
