Does anyone have any information on organic tattoo ink?

I am planning to get a tattoo in the very near future and after doing a little research, I've learned that a lot of tattoo ink can contain toxic chemicals. There is no way of finding out what the ingredients are since the companies do not need to disclose this information.

Normally, the ingredients of tattoo inks would not be a concern; however, I am [what some people would call me] a "health-nut/tree hugger" and do not want to put anything in or on my body which could pose a hazardous risk.

So far, the only companies I've found that use organic ingredients are Starbrite, Eternal and Stable. Does this mean these companies use natural, earth-based ingredients? Or do they still use some of the same ingredients the other companies use?

Thanks to all who answer.Does anyone have any information on organic tattoo ink?I've never heard of organic tattoo ink. That's like asking for sugar free pixie sticks. Kudos to you for finding those companies. I guess your challenge now would be to call around to various tattoo shops %26amp; ask what brands they use or if they know of any shops that use organic ink.

Good luck.Does anyone have any information on organic tattoo ink?use hena it is a lot cheaper it stays on for 2 monthsDoes anyone have any information on organic tattoo ink?^I think the point of getting a tattoo is to have it for a lot longer than 2 months...
