Where can I find out information on Seattle neighborhoods and surrounding suburbs?

I'm looking to move out there and wanted to do a comparison and get more information. What kind of neighborhood are you looking for? Some of the things that will help us narrrow down what places we would suggest you look at:



1. Single, married, kids? Are you looking for good school districts?

2. Apartment, condo, townhome, house? How much are you willing to spend?

3. how far are you willing to commute each day for work? are we presuming that you will be working downtown? Commuting by car or public transport?

4. what kind of neighborhood are you looking for? Lots of activities and nightlife, quieter but still close in, far enough out to be in the "country"?
