Mercury in Gemini is capable of doing this too , but Mercury Gemini tends to find errors and discrepancies just because Mercury Gemini is information itself, without leaning heavily into trying and turning what its learnt into pratical applications.



When Mercury is in contact with Jupiter , its opposition, there is an indicated ability to use finer details to form a big picture. Jupiter has an ability to see everything in a bigger cosmic order without the need ( or lack thereof ) to look at the details and practicality and how things actually function on a more realistic order. In contrast to Jupiter, Mercury is more in touch with pragmatism ( especially when placed in Virgo ) and how to categorise information in the most useful and effective order possible , but sometimes Virgo is too bogged down in details that it forgets to look at the end results ( the big picture that is being built ).



Mercury/Uranus formation gives someone very eccentric and odd ideas that are sometimes quite hard for other people to understand, because their ideas can be way advanced into the future. Mercury/Uranus is normally bestowed with flashes of intuition and foresight and a refreshing sense of originality. However, Mercury/Uranus individual , harsh or harmonious, tend to run into troubles explaining their ideas to the more pragmatic and earthly folks since their ideas can be in sharp contrast and too threatening to their sense of security and order. Mercury/Uranus can pull a big piture, but the picture can be sometimes too abstract to be applied on an earthly levels where individuality , egos, emotions are always needed taking into account.What signs/placements are good at finding discrepancies and errors in mass information?
IDK, but I'm going to say heavy aspects of Virgo, Scorpio, and Capricorn (Mercury in particular).



I have aspects of all three in my chart, and honestly, I notice almost everything----differences and changes seem to blare at me. It's definitely natural----especially helpful in transposing information and analyzing data for errors.
