I know it's not like real work but I'm assuming they still need information (not simple information like nam etc) for you to work. I'm 16 and am an amateur and have been looking for work for 4 weeks to do during my A levels, but no one is recruiting. So I decided I will do voluntary work to get experience and improve my confidence.
What information will the employer need?
ThanksWhat information do employers need if I was to do voluntary work? Each organisation will be different, but most likely will ask you to complete an application form.
That way they'll get what they need. Even the CRB thing needn't be a problem. I knew someone on bail who worked at a Red Cross bookshop, very successfully all round.
Best to pay a personal visit to the shops nearby, then you get a feel for who works there and the general layout and 'vibe'.
Well done for taking the initiative, and good luck. What information do employers need if I was to do voluntary work? They will almost certainly ned a CRB check because you would possible be dealing with vulnerable people. This can take a long time to get back. However ask and see what happens.
I do some voluntary work and every three years I have to have another check via the Criminal Records Bureau.
It does get silly because in your case the most it can say is that you have 16 years undiscovered crime. It does possibly deter some who intend or have in the past abused children and elderly people from applying in the first place, but I am well aware as is evryone else that whatever system is put in someone will find a way around it
