How would I get information for this research?

I am trying to do some personal research on the mental disorder Stockholm Syndrome (when a victim or hostage becomes attached to the victimizer). How would I go about finding some information from recent studies on the disease? And finding out some of the causes of the disorder? How would I get information for this research?google itHow would I get information for this research?by typing that into googleHow would I get information for this research?type in Stockholm syndrome research studies in googleHow would I get information for this research?
First and foremost, check the library for books on the subject. If you can, check the local college/university library to see if they have any subscriptions to psychology journals--that's where you would be able to find the more recent studies. Also, your doctor might know of some good places to look. I would use Google Scholar to search for articles on the subject. In the very least, you would know what you were looking for when you went to the library, and sometimes researchers will put the article on the internet for people to read for free.
